CANVAS & MERLOT
Special events of painting and wine for the adults. 
Have fun creating art with friends or meet new ones!
                                            This event will be held at The Art Studio 
Nov. 8th 2014Cost is $40.00 that includes: 16x20 inch canvas, 2 glasses of wine and gourmet snacks. SPECIAL: Pre-pay before the day of the event and your cost is only $35! There is also a raffle!!!
Parties are step-by-step painting lessons for beginners to advanced - come to have fun & create a masterpiece!

The Art Studio has planned a very creative 2014/2015 year for our students with a little help from some very influential artists and new drama classes are being offered starting in September!

Art students will be introduced to relevant contemporary and historical artists, and art styles, while learning to compare, analyze and appreciate art. Through the use of fine art mediums that include: Ceramics, Acrylics, Oil, Charcoal, Graphite, Watercolor, Sculpture, and Painting. 

Drama students will learn stage craft, improvisation and have the opportunity to perform at the end of the term. Students will gain a working knowledge of the elements of design and theater as well as learn techniques to develop confidence in public speaking.

Mission Statement
To provide an instructive, fun environment to those wishing to express and further their artistic abilities.
It is our strong belief that all people have a natural and instinctive curiosity and desire to create, which The Art Studio strives to nurture.

What We Do
The Art Studio welcomes students of all ages. Students will be introduced to a wide variety of artistic mediums and techniques such as drawing, sculpture, pottery, ceramics, and the various forms of painting. Students will also have the chance to participate in a gallery showing to showcase their work.

After School Programs
Offer your clients a chance to experience something new right at your own facility; our instructors come to you to offer exciting art lessons. We do the set up, clean up and provide all the materials!

Vendor Services
The Art Studio works with local and non-local charter schools to offer vendor services. This greatly reduces the parent’s costs and provides the student with a well-rounded curriculum which includes art history, art fundamentals, and studio time. Day time as well as evening classes are available for grades K-12 and will begin in September.

                  Birthday Party or Private Reception?
Our event specialist will help you to create the perfect party environment for children or adults! From decorations, activities and food, we have you covered!!

Have A Young Artist? Why Art?
Young artists have a natural desire to express themselves through art. Art is a great way to improve small motor skills and exercise imagination. Using symbolism and color they give you a little peek at the unique way in which they view the world.

The Art Studio offers weekly classes 
  • 1 hr. (K, 1, and 2 grade)
  • 1 ½ hr. (3rd through 8 grade)
  • High School Classes
        (High School @ Tehachapi Studio only)
These classes provide the student with a well-rounded curriculum which includes; art history, art fundamentals, and studio time using a wide range of mediums.

"The Adult Student"
  • Painting instruction by the nationally recognized artist Deanie R. Zeitlin.
  • Ceramics and Pottery Wheel Lessons
  • Group Lessons are designed for 8+ people
